Capital C, located at the historic Diamantbeurs on Weesperplein, seamlessly blends historic elegance with forward-thinking design. The transformation of the historic Diamantbeurs into the innovative Capital C makes it an ideal venue for this year’s Innovation Day. Once the heart of Amsterdam’s diamond trade, the building is now a dynamic hub for innovation and industry.
With its unique glass dome, The High Light, offering stunning views of Amsterdam, Capital C creates an inspiring space for networking and discussions. The building’s restoration preserves its 1911 design by architect Gerrit van Arkel while integrating modern elements like the steel-and-glass dome, which symbolizes both the building’s legacy and its future.
Capital C is also a leader in sustainability. Solar panels are integrated into the glass dome to generate electricity, reduce solar heat gain, and improve energy efficiency. The green roof serves as a rainwater buffer, boosts biodiversity, and filters fine dust from the air, enhancing the venue’s environmental footprint.

- By Tram: lines 7 and 19 stop at station Weesperplein, the is right around the corner
- By Metro: lines 51, 53 and 54 all stop at station Weesperplein in front of the entrance (about 1 min “walk”)
- By Car: we suggest parking at QPark Weesperplein or at (P+R) Park and Ride Johan Cruijff ArenA
- By Bike: Click on the Google Maps link and park your bike next to the metrostation “Weesperplein”
