With decades of experience in digital strategy and data standards, Hugo Belder helps organizations align people, systems, and information across capital projects and operations.

Hugo Belder is Principal Consultant at xclerate and Chairman of USPI-NL, a standardization body for the process industry. With more than 35 years of experience in engineering information, digital strategy, and complex project environments, Hugo has worked across the software, IT consultancy, and energy sectors.

He has held roles ranging from R&D Manager to Information Manager and served for eight years as Technical Authority for Information Management at a major international oil and gas company. His work focuses on improving data flow, system interoperability, and long-term value creation across capital projects and asset operations.

At Innovation Day 2025, Hugo will speak about how structured information management and cross-industry collaboration can reduce risk and improve performance across the full asset lifecycle, from design through operations.
